We've been getting so GREEN lately!

Starting in July, there will be a new section of the site to enjoy-  dedicated to our new mini eco-organization:

 T.A.G.O.  Take Action- Go Organic!

One of the major activities T.A.G.O. will organize are community clean-ups. Beau & I already do this together in our neighborhood- and we're always grateful for extra hands (and hearts) to help with the cause. We'll also be spreading the word about organic foods/ products as much as possible. It's time to stop poisoning our bodies and our world with chemicals and toxins.

Don't just frown at litter......Pick it up!

Well, things around here are getting crazy again- as they often do this time of year! We are playing more, practicing a lot with Stu & Matty, writing, recording, drawing, and-- planning our wedding! Yep, we're FINALLY getting that together. It's gonna be a small, family gathering (sorry friends & fans who wanted to come!) And we're goin' green! I've found the most beautiful hemp wedding dress and eco-friendly shoes. Plus some totally reusable (and adorable) bridesmaid dresses for my sisters and much more. I thought it would be hard to find everything I need for a green wedding- but it's been pretty easy so far! They're kind of "in style" right now- which is good for me (but even better for the Earth- let's hope this trend sticks around!) We've got about a year to plan- I'll keep you all updated on the progression of things.

BTW: We aren't just making our wedding green- we've been taking steps toward a greener lifestyle in general. Recycling, using less power and water, eating organic foods, supporting local businesses, and much more!

*Our next cd's packaging will be printed on certified %100 green forestry practices board w/ all vegetable inks, minimal plastic use, and they'll be biodegradable/recyclable. Rock.

Hey ya'll!

Busy weekend ahead- just thought I'd check in. We'll be trying out a new venue called The Chesdin on Monday for their St. Patty's party- wish us luck! Oh, and it turns out we'll be at the Irish Festival on March 30th (at 12:20) ~don't miss that one~ it's always tons of fun! We actually weren't sure we'd be able to play this year, but it all magically worked out. (Yay!)

Well, not much else to report- though we did recently add some new covers to our setlist... some Ramones and some Foo Fighters :)  Come see us this weekend and check 'em out!

                                                                         BACK TO HOMEPAGE

*Welcome to our OminO~blog~O! Feel free to leave a comment. Here's our very first entry...

Today is a sleepy Thursday. Mary is curled up on the couch-- nose and paws twitching-- and Beau is still in bed after a somewhat restless night. I think we are slowly but surely becoming nocturnal. I couldn't sleep in at all this morning because my shoulder's bursitis was flaring up. It's not a nice feeling!

But anywhos- Guess what? We recently broke 99,000 page views for our band's website! (We have been online since 2004-- but that's still pretty darn cool!) I'll let you know when we break the big 100. It shouldn't take too terribly long...

Don't forget this weekends gigs: Pasta Luna tomorrow night (Fri) and Rockfalls Tavern (on Sat) ~both are acoustic shows. We'd love to see ya there!

P.S. Please be sure to keep Chad (from Emilio's) in your thoughts. For updates on his recovery click here
